Physical Therapy

Our dedicated team at Mesa Verde has been serving our residents for 16 years. The team is made up of two full time Physical Therapists and one Physical Therapy Assistant as well as three Physical Therapy Aides.
We provide individually tailored programs by Therapy Specialists for physical limitations. Complete therapy is offered 7 days a week.

Many of the residents admitted to Mesa Verde have had severe fractures, strokes, amputations, joint replacement, or other disabilities. An evaluation on each resident including history, observation, and testing along with the physician and our other services begins our "team approach" program of treatment. A specific program is instituted and may involve strengthening exercises, functional activities, electrical stimulation, whirlpools, gait training and other activities.
The outstanding success in treating a variety of disorders shows the commitment Mesa Verde has in being a leader in geriatric physical therapy. By consistently referring Mesa Verde to others, area physicians, residents, and family members have shown the highest level of confidence in our therapy service.
