Evelyn Shull R.N.
Director of Nursing Services
Evelyn Shull received her BSN degree in 1980 and has had over 20 years experience in nursing and management that includes acute and skilled nursing care. Her background includes charge positions in critical care and ICU units in addition to long-term care in a variety of geriatric settings. She has held positions as Clinical Instructor and Director of Staff Development and has implemented extensive Quality Assurance and Infection Control programs. Her extensive background, experience and knowledge brings a wealth of talent to Mesa Verde and furthers our commitment to excellent patient care
Gregory J. Katz, M.D.
Medical Director
Dr. Gregory Katz majored in Biology at U.C.L.A. and received his B.S. Degree with magna cum laude honors. He attended medical school in New York at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine receiving his M.D. in 1991. After completing his residency at U.C.S.D., Dr. Katz joined the staff at Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian. Dr. Katz has had a private practice in internal medicine in Newport Beach since 1994.
Dr. Katz continues to work extensively with Hoag Hospital, serving on a variety of committees and appointments. He comes to Mesa Verde with invaluable experience and expertise and has served as Medical Director since June of 2002
